The School Council at Hamer Primary School ensures that the student voice is heard. It provides the students with a safe, fair, democratic and friendly place in which they are able to express their views and opinions. It offers opportunities to become involved in some of the decision-making process in relation to their school.
The school council is made up of two children from each year group from year 2 onwards.
We meet on Thursday mornings during assembly time.
We work hard to improve things within school like lunches, listening to pupil voice. We also work hard throughout the year raising money for local and national charities. We are always trying to think of fun and exciting ways to do this.
Please look out for our next fundraising events!
