Trips and Visitors

On this page you will find pictures and information all about trips out of school and visitors to school.

Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale

The Mayor and Mayoress dropped by to open our fantastic Maths' Happiness Fair. It was a great honour to host the Mayor and Mayoress  and we would love to have a visit again in the future.

Lower Key Stage 2 - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Our Year 3 and 4 children enjoyed a stunning performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on their return to school after Christmas. The children all thoroughly enjoyed the show, not the coach journey home unfortunately! As has happened before, our wonderful children have received praise from members of the public who have contacted the school to compliment our children.

Year 6 - Crucial Crew

The Year 6 children had a fantastic time on the annual Crucial Crew visit, learning all about safety and first aid.

Upper Key Stage 2 - The Pioneer Museum and Rochdale Town Hall
The children in Year 5 and 6 visited local historical sites in Rochdale to find out how important the area was for pioneering developments during the Victorian era. We had a great day and found out lots of interesting but quite scary information about what life was like 150 years ago.

Year 5 - Kingswood

In February. Year 5 went to Kingswood on a residential trip. We stayed over for 2 nights and took part in outdoor adventurous activities. These activities included the zip wire, fencing, nightline and the 3g swing. Below are some pictures of our time at Kingswood:
